UNIQA - ZUG V WET

Complete dismantling - ZUG V model, WET version
  1. Stand the pump on the workbench
  2. Undo the pump body fixing screws
  3. With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor and separate it from the pump body
  4. Loosen the impeller fixing screw BUT DO NOT remove it
  5. Use a lever to free the impeller
  6. Undo the fixing screw and remove the impeller
  7. Stand the motor on the bench
  8. Undo the fixing screws of the cable gland and the motor cover
  9. With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor cover and separate it from the case
  10. Undo the ground connection screw
  11. Disconnect the power cable from the terminal board
  12. Place the motor cover on the bench
  13. Remove the fixing stud bolt
  14. Remove the cable gland
  15. Cut the tie and extract the cable from the motor cover
  16. Remove the rubber gasket and extract the cable gland
  17. Remove the O-ring from the top bearing support
  18. Disconnect the motor cables from the terminal board
  19. Remove the terminal board
  20. Using two suitable screws, extract the top bearing support
  21. With the aid of eye-bolts and slings of suitable size, suspend the motor horizontally
  22. Unscrew the oil chamber plugs and drain the contents into a suitable vessel
  23. Stand the motor on the bench and remove the eye-bolts
  24. Remove the pump plate O-ring and fixing screws
  25. Remove the pump plate
  26. Remove the O-ring and the oil lifter
  27. Remove the snap ring and the washer
  28. Extract the counterface
  29. Remove the O-rings from the seats
  30. Undo the fixing screws of the oil chamber and remove it
  31. Remove the O-ring
  32. Extract the first mechanical seal (impeller side) and the shim washers
  33. Remove the snap ring
  34. Extract the second mechanical seal (motor side)
  35. Remove the snap ring
  36. With the aid of two suitable screws, extract the bushing and remove the counterface and the O-ring
  37. Remove the snap ring and spacer
  38. Remove the bottom bearing support fixing screws
  39. Fix an eye-bolt to the shaft and extract it using a hoist and a suitable sling
  40. Undo the nut and remove the sensor cable
  41. Unscrew the cable gland and extract the sensor
  42. Remove the O-ring of the bottom bearing support
  43. Lock the stator with the drivers and proceed to extract it using a press
