Complete dismantling ZUG OC model DRY version
- Stand the pump on the workbench
- Undo the pump body fixing screws
- With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor and separate it from the pump body
- Suspend the motor and secure the impeller to a support to allow its safe removal
- Loosen the impeller fixing screw BUT DO NOT REMOVE IT
- Use a lever to free the impeller
- Remove the impeller fixing screw
- With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor and remove the impeller from the support
- Stand the motor on the bench
- Remove the handle
- With the aid of eye-bolts and slings of suitable size, suspend the motor horizontally
- Unscrew the top plug of the jacket and drain the glycol into a suitable vessel
- Holding the hexagonal nut still, unscrew the oil chamber plug and drain the contents into a suitable vessel
- Stand the motor on the bench
- Undo the fixing screws of the cooling jacket retainer ring and extract it
- Undo the fixing screws of the motor cover and cable gland
- With the aid of eye-bolts and a sling, lift the motor cover and separate it from the case
- Undo the ground connection screw
- Disconnect the power cable from the terminal board
- Cut the tie and extract the cable from the motor cover
- Remove the rubber gasket and cable gland
- Disconnect the motor cables from the terminal board
- Remove the terminal board
- Remove the O-rings from the seats
- Remove the external cooling jacket
- Remove the internal cooling jacket
- Using two suitable screws, extract the top bearing support
- Overturn the motor
- Undo and extract the fixing screws of the pump plate
- Remove the V-ring
- Remove the pump plate
- Undo the counterface locking ring screws
- Extract the counterface and the O-rings
- Remove the fixing screws and O-rings of the oil chamber
- Remove the plugs
- Remove the oil chamber and the O-ring
- Remove the bottom diffuser
- Extract the first mechanical seal (impeller side), lifting it with an extractor or 2 levers
- Remove the shim washers
- Remove the snap ring that secures the seal
- Extract the second mechanical seal (motor side), lifting it with an extractor or 2 levers
- Remove the sensor cable gland and the O-rings
- Remove the top diffuser
- With the aid of two suitable screws, extract the bushing and the counterface
- Extract the counterface and the O-ring from the bushing
- Extract the rubber gasket from the sensor seat
- Remove the V-ring
- Remove the cooling impeller
- Remove the snap ring
- With the aid of two suitable screws, extract the bushing
- Remove the stop bushing and the O-ring
- Remove the pump plate fixing screws
- Fix an eye-bolt to the shaft and extract it using a hoist and a suitable sling
- Remove the sensor cable
- Unscrew the cable gland and extract the sensor
- Remove the O-ring
- Lock the stator with the drivers and proceed to extract it using a press
