UNIQA - ZUG OC DRY

Complete dismantling ZUG OC model DRY version
  1. Stand the pump on the workbench
  2. Undo the pump body fixing screws
  3. With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor and separate it from the pump body
  4. Suspend the motor and secure the impeller to a support to allow its safe removal
  5. Loosen the impeller fixing screw BUT DO NOT REMOVE IT
  6. Use a lever to free the impeller
  7. Remove the impeller fixing screw
  8. With the aid of a hoist, lift the motor and remove the impeller from the support
  9. Stand the motor on the bench
  10. Remove the handle
  11. With the aid of eye-bolts and slings of suitable size, suspend the motor horizontally
  12. Unscrew the top plug of the jacket and drain the glycol into a suitable vessel
  13. Holding the hexagonal nut still, unscrew the oil chamber plug and drain the contents into a suitable vessel
  14. Stand the motor on the bench
  15. Undo the fixing screws of the cooling jacket retainer ring and extract it
  16. Undo the fixing screws of the motor cover and cable gland
  17. With the aid of eye-bolts and a sling, lift the motor cover and separate it from the case
  18. Undo the ground connection screw
  19. Disconnect the power cable from the terminal board
  20. Cut the tie and extract the cable from the motor cover
  21. Remove the rubber gasket and cable gland
  22. Disconnect the motor cables from the terminal board
  23. Remove the terminal board
  24. Remove the O-rings from the seats
  25. Remove the external cooling jacket
  26. Remove the internal cooling jacket
  27. Using two suitable screws, extract the top bearing support
  28. Overturn the motor
  29. Undo and extract the fixing screws of the pump plate
  30. Remove the V-ring
  31. Remove the pump plate
  32. Undo the counterface locking ring screws
  33. Extract the counterface and the O-rings
  34. Remove the fixing screws and O-rings of the oil chamber
  35. Remove the plugs
  36. Remove the oil chamber and the O-ring
  37. Remove the bottom diffuser
  38. Extract the first mechanical seal (impeller side), lifting it with an extractor or 2 levers
  39. Remove the shim washers
  40. Remove the snap ring that secures the seal
  41. Extract the second mechanical seal (motor side), lifting it with an extractor or 2 levers
  42. Remove the sensor cable gland and the O-rings
  43. Remove the top diffuser
  44. With the aid of two suitable screws, extract the bushing and the counterface
  45. Extract the counterface and the O-ring from the bushing
  46. Extract the rubber gasket from the sensor seat
  47. Remove the V-ring
  48. Remove the cooling impeller
  49. Remove the snap ring
  50. With the aid of two suitable screws, extract the bushing
  51. Remove the stop bushing and the O-ring
  52. Remove the pump plate fixing screws
  53. Fix an eye-bolt to the shaft and extract it using a hoist and a suitable sling
  54. Remove the sensor cable
  55. Unscrew the cable gland and extract the sensor
  56. Remove the O-ring
  57. Lock the stator with the drivers and proceed to extract it using a press
