Replacing type A-A mechanical seals
  1. Moisten the first counterface of the mechanical seal with alcohol and insert it in the seat
  2. Position the first counterface in the seat with the block
  3. Clean the surface of the first counterface to replace any residues with a paper towel
  4. Lightly lubricate the first counterface
  5. Clean the surface of the first mechanical seal with a paper towel and moisten it with alcohol
  6. Insert the first mechanical seal into the shaft and position it with the block
  7. Lock the first mechanical seal with the circlip
  8. Insert the spacer into seat
  9. Moisten the second mechanical seal with alcohol and position it with the block
  10. Position the O-ring in the seats
  11. Position the oil chamber
  12. Lock the oil chamber by tightening the screws in a criss-cross order
  13. Clean the surfaces of the pump plate
  14. Place the O-ring in the seat of the pump plate
  15. Moisten the second counterface with alcohol and position it in the seat with the block
  16. Position the lock ring and lead in the screws WITHOUT TIGHTENING THEM
  17. Use Loctite 243 thread lock or equivalent
  18. Insert the O-ring in the seat
  19. Place the oil lifter in the seat and secure it by tightening the screws
  20. Lightly close the fins of the oil lifter inwards
  21. Using a gauge, check that the distance is about 8 mm
  22. Clean the surface of the second counterface with a paper towel
  23. Lightly lubricate the second counterface
  24. Clean the surface with compressed air
  25. Clean the surface of the mechanical seal with a paper towel.
  26. Place the O-rings in the seats of the oil chamber
  27. Overturn the pump plate and place it on the oil chamber
  28. Tighten 2 opposite screws by hand to allow the correct positioning of the pump plate
  29. Lock the pump plate by tightening the screws in a criss-cross order
