UNIQA CHOPPER DRY

PTFE V-ring assembly CHOPPER mod. DRY vers.
  1. Clean the surface with compressed air
  2. Insert the O-ring in the seat of the shaft and apply plenty of grease
  3. Tack the lock dowels at the stop bushing
  4. Apply a few drops of Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalent to the dowels
  5. Insert the stop bushing into the drive shaft and position it correctly with the block
  6. Tighten the lock dowels of the stop bushing
  7. Thoroughly clean the stop bushing removing any leaked threadlocker
  8. Gently squeeze the lower lip of the V-ring for easy insertion using a smooth, rounded tool
  9. Moisten the lower bearing flange with alcohol and position the V-ring in place with the block
  10. Apply a generous amount of grease to the V-ring and O-ring of the lower bearing flange
  11. Using a dial gauge attached to the pump plate, check that the eccentricity value of the stop bushing is less than 0.1 mm
  12. Thoroughly clean the stop bushing and the shaft to remove any residue
  13. Use the tapered insert to insert the V-ring without damaging its rubber edges
  14. Insert the lower bearing flange in the seat and position it correctly with the block
  15. Remove the conical insert
  16. Lock the bearing flange with the circlip
  17. Position the device for the pressure test and secure it by tightening the screw
  18. Connect compressed air to the connection and perform the leak test at a pressure of approx. 2 bar
