Step by step operations

  1. Fit the sensor rubber gasket in place and screw down the cable gland
  2. Fit the sensor into the cable gland. Caution: The sensor must stick out from the gland by about 10 mm
  3. Tighten the cable gland
  4. Temporarily tape the sensor cable to the outside of the case
  5. Position the stator so that one of the grooves is aligned with the sensor cable
  6. Place the drivers on the stator
  7. Insert the stator with the aid of a press
  8. Remove the drivers
  9. Fit the supporting washer and the bearing
  10. Place the driver on the bearing and insert it into its seat
  11. Overturn the case and place it on the support. Warning: keep the motor cables outside the case
  12. Fit the shaft into the motor
  13. Place the top bearing and its driver on the shaft
  14. Insert the bearings with the aid of a press
  15. Remove the driver and place the cables inside the case
  16. Overturn the motor and secure the bearing with the snap ring
  17. Fit the O-ring into the seat on the aluminium bushing and grease it
  18. Place the bushing in the seat and fit it with the driver
  19. Secure the bushing with the snap ring, making sure it is perfectly snug
  20. Wet the first counterface with alcohol and fit it, using the driver
  21. Clean the first counterface with a paper towel
  22. Clean the first seal with a paper towel and wet it with alcohol
  23. Place the first seal in the shaft and fit it with the driver
  24. Fix the seal with the snap ring
  25. Clean the second seal with a paper towel and wet it with alcohol
  26. Place the second seal in the shaft and fit it with the driver
  27. Fit the O-ring into its seat
  28. Wet the second counterface with alcohol and fit it into the seat with the driver
  29. Pour a few drops of lubricating oil onto the paper gasket and fit it into the seat
  30. Clean the second counterface with a paper towel
  31. Lubricate the seal and counterface lightly
  32. Fit the pump plate and fix it with the screws, tightening them by hand first, working by opposites
  33. Fit the plug on the oil chamber
  34. Use a union to connect the compressed air system to the oil chamber and test for tightness at a maximum pressure of 1 bar
  35. Remove the union
  36. Lie the motor on the bench and fill the mechanical seal chamber with oil
  37. Check the quantity of oil in the documentation
  38. Fit the plug on the oil chamber
  39. Stand the motor on the bench
  40. Fit the O-ring into the seat in the top bearing support
  41. Fit the top bearing support 
  42. Fit the cables through one of the holes in the support
  43. Fit the O-ring into the seat in the motor cover
  44. Fit the cable into the cable gland
  45. Fit the cable through the hole in the motor cover
  46. Fit the cable stop and fix it in place
  47. Fit a lug to the ground cable 
  48. Connect the motor terminals to the electrical cable and tighten the lugs
  49. Check the type of connection in the documentation
  50. Fix the ground cable to the top bearing support
  51. Fit the motor cover, taking care not to crush the cables, and screw it in place
  52. Fix the cable gland
  53. Using a union, connect the compressed air system to the motor cover
  54. Test for tightness at a maximum pressure of 1 bar
  55. Remove the union
  56. Fit the plug in the motor cover
  57. Lie the motor on the bench
  58. Fix the bracket
  59. Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
  60. Position the plastic guard and fix it to the runner
  61. Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
  62. Fix the runner
  63. Fix the handle
  64. Position the sliding cylinders and fix with the split pins
  65. Mount the propeller on the shaft and fix it with the screw
