GREY - DRG G10S - G10L Assembly
- Lay the pump on the bench
- Loosen the impeller locking screw.
- Remove the fixing screw and washer
- Loosen the screws fixing the intake flange in place
- Remove the intake flange using a lever inserted into the special notch on the pump body
- Unlock the impeller by turning the collar anticlockwise
- WARNING: Left-handed thread
- Separate the impeller from the shaft and extract it
- Gently tap the blades with a rubber hammer if necessary
- Remove the collar from the impeller
- Remove the bronze bush. Gently widen the opening with a flat-head screw driver if necessary
- Using a hoist, place the pump vertically on the bench
- Loosen the screws fixing the pump body in place
- Using a hoist, lift the motor and separate it from the pump body
- Loosen the motor cover fixing screws
- Loosen the fixing screws of the cable gland
- Using a hoist, separate the motor cover from the housing
- Use two levers, if necessary
- Loosen the earthing screw
- Disconnect the power cable from the terminal block
- Cut the power cable and extract it from the cable gland
- Loosen the screws fixing the cable gland in place and remove it
- Loosen the screws fixing the handle in place and remove it
- Cut the stator wires
- Loosen the screws fixing the bar inn place and remove the terminal block
- Use two suitable screws to extract the upper bearing support
- Place the motor on the bench and undo the oil chamber cap.
- CAUTION: Cove the cap with a rag to prevent the oil from squirting out
- Pour the oil contained in the chamber into a suitable container and dispose of it.
- Using a hoist, place the motor vertically on the bench
- Loosen the screws fixing the pump plate in place and remove it
- Loosen the screws retaining the locking ring and remove the oil lifter
- Loosen the screws retaining the locking ring and remove it along with the relative O-ring
- Remove the O-ring and the counterface of the mechanical seal
- Remove the O-rings from the seats of the oil chamber
- Extract the first mechanical seal, with the help of two levers if necessary
- Extract the locking washer and the circlip
- Extract the second mechanical seal, with the help of two levers if necessary
- Remove the circlip
- Use two suitable screws to extract the bush and counterface
- Loosen the oil chamber screws
- Using a hoist, lift the shaft and the oil chamber
- Disconnect the wire from the probe
- Loosen the cable gland and extract the probe and relative grommet
- Remove the circlip locking the bearing
- Using a hoist, place the shaft on a suitable support to allow the extraction of the bearing
- Using a press and a suitable block, extract the shaft from the bearing
- Extract the bearing from the seat of the oil chamber
- Using an extractor, separate the upper bearing from the shaft
- Provide a suitable support to sustain the housing and allow the extraction of the stator
- Place the housing on the support
- Using a press, extract the stator with the help of a suitable block
- Remove the housing
- Using a hoist, remove the stator from inside the support
- Remove the blocks from the stator
