The team based in Reggio Emilia has changed its name to Turkish Puccetti Racing in the scope of the partnership with the Turkish Motorcycle Federation to foster young Turkish talents in the world championship of motorbikes derived from standard production models.
Strong of last year's successes and with two podium rankings, Toprak Razgatlıoglu will be joined this year by Bahattin Sofuoğlu in the in 300 class.
There is news on the Supersport front as well, with the investiture of Puccetti as official team of the Japanese manufacturer. Confirmed rider Hikari Okubo is expected to improve further, while newcomer Mahias Lucas will have the task of bringing the world title home.
Manuel Puccetti, Team Principal: "We have kicked off a long-term partnership with the Turkish Motorcycle Federation to support the Turkish riders from the 300 class up to Superbike, where our team takes the name of Turkish Puccetti Racing. Our partnership with Kawasaki in Supersport continues and also in 2019 we will be the official team of manufacturer from Akashi in this category with the task of winning back the world title. I am sure that the new season will be challenging but full of satisfactions".
