The Al Khobar desalination plant in Saudi Arabia is based on reverse osmosis technology and serves 600,000 m³/day of drinking water. Zenit took care of the waste water disposal from the osmosis processes with UNIQA pumps suitably adapted to the environment with parts in AISI 329 and duplex stainless steel to resist the corrosive action of the salt-laden water.
