ZMR - Mixer Assembly
Step by step operations
Fit the sensor rubber gasket in place and pre-fix the cable gland
Fit the double sensor into the cable gland
Warning: the first sensor must stick out by about 10 mm
Tighten the cable gland
Temporarily tape the sensor cable to the outside of the case
Place the case on the base of the press
Add 2 suitable supports to avoid crushing the sensor
Position the stator on the case so that one of the grooves is aligned with the sensor cable
Place the drivers on the stator
Using a press, insert the stator in the case
Remove the drivers
Fit the supporting washer and the bearing
Overturn the case and place it on the support using a hoist
Fit the shaft into the motor
Place the top bearing and its driver on the shaft
Using a press, fit the bearings into the shaft
Remove the driver
Fit the O-ring into its seat
Secure the bearing with the snap ring
Grease the bushing O-ring
Fit the bushing and place it in its seat with the driver
Secure the bushing with the snap ring, making sure it is perfectly snug
Wet the counterface with alcohol and fit it, using the driver
Clean the counterface with a paper towel and lubricate the surface slightly
Clean the mechanical seal with a paper towel and wet it with alcohol
Place the mechanical seal in the shaft and fit it with the driver
Fix the mechanical seal with the snap ring
Fit the key into the seat in the drive shaft
Place the sun gear in the planetary gear set and check that it turns freely
Engage the sun gear
Pour a few drops of lubricating oil onto the paper gasket and fit it into the seat. Use a little grease to hold it in place.
Place the reduction gearbox case on the motor and secure it with the screws
Cut the sensor sheath to reveal about 5 mm of the conductor inside
Insert the rotation stop pins in their seats
Fit the crown gear
Fit the planetary gear set
Using a press, fit the bearings into the reduction gearbox shaft. Use a driver to avoid damaging the teeth
Secure the bearing with the snap ring
Place the snap ring in seat in the front bearing support, making sure it is perfectly snug
Fit the shaft and bearings into place in the support
Grease the bushing O-ring and fit it in the front bearing support using the driver
Secure the bushing with the snap ring, making sure it is perfectly snug
Using a hoist, fit the shaft into the reduction gearbox
Fit the O-rings
Fix the sensor in place with the cable gland
Wet the first counterface with alcohol and fit it into the seat in the bushing with the driver
Clean the counterface with a paper towel and lubricate the surface slightly
Clean the first mechanical seal with a paper towel and wet it with alcohol
Insert the first mechanical seal and fit it with the driver
Fix the seal with the snap ring
Fit the washer
Clean the second mechanical seal with a paper towel and wet it with alcohol
Place the second mechanical seal in the shaft and fit it with the driver
Clean any residues from the surfaces
Wet the second counterface with alcohol and fit it into the seat in the front cover with the driver
Clean the counterface with a paper towel and lubricate the surface slightly
Fit the front cover on the motor and fix it with the screws, tightening them by hand first, working by opposites
Fit the plug in the reduction gearbox case
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Use a union to connect the compressed air system to the motor case and test for tightness at a maximum pressure of 1 bar
Remove the union
Use a union to connect the compressed air system to the front cover and test for tightness at a maximum pressure of 1 bar
Remove the union
Lie the motor on the bench
Fill the front cover chamber with oil. Refer to the documentation for the correct amount.
Fit the plug in the front cover
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Fill the reduction gearbox chamber with oil through the hole in the motor case
Refer to the documentation for the correct amount.
Fit the plug in the motor case
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Stand the motor on the bench
Protect the cables of thermal protections and the sensor with a sheath
Grease the O-ring into the seat in the rear bearing support
Fit the rear bearing support. Fit the cables through the hole
Fit the O-ring into the seat in the rear cover
Fit the cable into the cable gland and the rear cover
Fit the cable stop and fix it in place
Fit a lug to the ground cable and screw it to the bearing support
Connect the motor terminals to the electrical cable and tighten the lugs
Check the type of connection in the documentation
Taking care not to crush the cables, fit the rear cover on the case and screw it in place
Fix the cable gland
Using a union, connect the compressed air system to the rear cover
Test for tightness at a maximum pressure of 1 bar
Remove the union
Fit the plug in the rear cover
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Lie the motor on the bench
Fix the bracket to the rear cover
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents.
Position the plastic guard and fix it to the runner
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Fix the runner to the bracket
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Sling the motor in a horizontal position
Fix the lifting handle to the collars
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Fit the plastic guards and fix them to the supporting bracket
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Fix the supporting bracket to the collars
Use Loctite 243 threadlocker or equivalents
Position the sliding cylinders in the runner and fix with the split pins
Mount the propeller on the shaft and fix it with the screw
Use Loctite 270 threadlocker or equivalents
