GREY - DRG 200 Assembly

  1. Lay the pump on the bench
  2. Loosen the impeller locking screw.
  3. Remove the fixing screw and washer
  4. Loosen the screws fixing the intake flange in place
  5. Remove the intake flange using a lever inserted into the special notch on the pump body
  6. Unlock the impeller by turning the collar anticlockwise
  7. WARNING: Left-handed thread
  8. Separate the impeller from the shaft and extract it
  9. Gently tap the blades with a rubber hammer if necessary
  10. Remove the collar from the impeller
  11. Remove the bronze bush. Gently widen the opening with a flat-head screw driver if necessary
  12. Using a hoist, place the pump vertically on the bench
  13. Loosen the screws fixing the pump body in place
  14. Using a hoist, lift the motor and separate it from the pump body
  15. Loosen the motor cover fixing screws
  16. Loosen the fixing screws of the cable gland
  17. Using a hoist, separate the motor cover from the housing
  18. Use two levers, if necessary
  19. Loosen the earthing screw
  20. Disconnect the power cable from the terminal block
  21. Cut the power cable and extract it from the cable gland
  22. Loosen the screws fixing the cable gland in place and remove it
  23. Loosen the screws fixing the handle in place and remove it
  24. Cut the stator wires
  25. Loosen the screws fixing the bar inn place and remove the terminal block
  26. Use two suitable screws to extract the upper bearing support
  27. Place the motor on the bench and undo the oil chamber cap.
  28. CAUTION: Cove the cap with a rag to prevent the oil from squirting out
  29. Pour the oil contained in the chamber into a suitable container and dispose of it.
  30. Using a hoist, place the motor vertically on the bench
  31. Loosen the screws fixing the pump plate in place and remove it
  32. Loosen the screws retaining the locking ring and remove the oil lifter
  33. Loosen the screws retaining the locking ring and remove it along with the relative O-ring
  34. Remove the O-ring and the counterface of the mechanical seal
  35. Remove the O-rings from the seats of the oil chamber
  36. Extract the first mechanical seal, with the help of two levers if necessary
  37. Extract the locking washer and the circlip
  38. Extract the second mechanical seal, with the help of two levers if necessary
  39. Remove the circlip
  40. Use two suitable screws to extract the bush and counterface
  41. Loosen the oil chamber screws
  42. Using a hoist, lift the shaft and the oil chamber
  43. Disconnect the wire from the probe
  44. Loosen the cable gland and extract the probe and relative grommet
  45. Remove the circlip locking the bearing
  46. Using a hoist, place the shaft on a suitable support to allow the extraction of the bearing
  47. Using a press and a suitable block, extract the shaft from the bearing
  48. Extract the bearing from the seat of the oil chamber
  49. Using an extractor, separate the upper bearing from the shaft
  50. Provide a suitable support to sustain the housing and allow the extraction of the stator
  51. Place the housing on the support
  52. Using a press, extract the stator with the help of a suitable block
  53. Remove the housing
  54. Using a hoist, remove the stator from inside the support
  55. Remove the blocks from the stator
