This result confirms the company's commitment to developing safe, reliable solutions that comply with the strictest global standards.
Zenit Italia has recently achieved the IEC CB Scheme certification for the UNIQA and GREY series submersible wastewater electric pumps, in three-phase configurations from 1.1 kW to 4 kW, in accordance with Standards IEC 60335-1:2020 and IEC 60335-2-41:2024.
These two standards are the international regulatory safety framework for electric pumps intended for domestic use and similar applications. In particular, their scope extends also to equipment used in non-residential contexts yet still accessible to non-professional users, such as shops, small craft businesses and farms.
The main objective of these standards is to ensure that products are designed and built to operate in absolutely safe conditions throughout their entire life cycle, by passing strict tests on protection against electrical risks, overheating, mechanical failures, waterproofing and correct operation, even under abnormal conditions.
Apart from ensuring technical regulatory compliance, the strategic value of this project lies in its adherence to the IEC CB Scheme, the international program promoted by the IECEE, that ensures the mutual recognition of test reports between accredited certification bodies.
In operational terms, this certification drastically simplifies the procedures for obtaining national approvals in different countries, without the hassle of repeating lab tests, and thus significantly reducing the time to market and cost of global expansion.
The effectiveness of the certification process is further enhanced by the positive assessment of National Deviations for strategically important geographical areas, such as Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, plus all those markets whose regulatory frameworks directly transpose the applicable IEC requirements.
For customers, distributors and business partners, obtaining the IEC CB Scheme certification is a further guarantee of quality, safety and compliance with internationally recognised standards.
While for Zenit Group, this is a significant competitive advantage that consolidates the Company's ability to support complex international projects, and to respond promptly and effectively to the dynamics of foreign markets.
This milestone consolidates and confirms the Group's international vocation, reaffirming its constant commitment to innovation and a global vision, as it continues to invest in outstanding wastewater treatment solutions.
