PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
This page contains a description of the website's administration methods in relation to the processing of personal data of users who view the website.
This notice is provided to those interacting with Zenit Italia s.r.l.'s's web services, accessible at http://www.zenit.com
, for the protection of their personal details pursuant to article 10 of Italian Law no. 675 dated 31 December 1996.
This notice relates only to the Zenit Italia s.r.l.'s site and not to any other websites which may be reachable via hyperlinks. The policy complies with Recommendation no. 2/2001 which the European data protection authorities, on the occasion of the meeting of the Institutional Group in accordance with article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data, specifically the methods, times and nature of the information which data controllers must specify to users when they access web pages, regardless of the purposes of such access.

Following viewing of this site, data concerning identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The Data Controller is is Zenit Italia s.r.l. based at Via dell'Industria 11, San Cesario sul Panaro, Modena, Italy.
PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
The data processing associated with the web services of this site is performed at the at the headquarters of Zenit Italia s.r.l., and is performed only by authorised personnel in the Office responsible for the processing, or by persons who may be assigned to occasional maintenance operations.
No data acquired via the web service are communicated or disseminated.
The personal data supplied by users making requests for the dispatch of information (bulletins, CD-ROMs, newsletters, annual reports, responses to questions, official documentation etc.) are used only to provide the requested service and are communicated to third parties only in the event this is necessary to that end (mailing service for the Italian Data Protection Authority's publications published by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Department for Information and Publishing).
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation data The IT systems and software processes responsible for the operation of this website acquire certain personal data during the course of their normal operations, the transmission of which is an integral and essential part of the Internet communication protocols.
This is information which is not gathered in order to be associated with identified parties, but due to its nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, permit identification of the users.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by visitors to the site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to issue the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, failure etc.) and other parameters concerning the user's operating system and IT environment.
These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on use of the website and to check it is operating correctly, and are deleted immediately after processing. These data could hypothetically be used to determine responsibility in the event of attacks or other criminal acts carried out on the website; aside from this eventuality, the data on web contacts are not currently stored for more than seven days.
Data supplied voluntarily by the user The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email to the addresses listed on this site will result in acquisition of the sender's email address, which is necessary for responding to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Specific summary information dedicated to particular requested services will be provided or displayed on the relevant website pages.
No personal user data is acquired by the site in this regard.
Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, and no forms of so-called persistent cookies, or systems for tracking users, are used.
The use of "session cookies" (which are not permanently stored on the user's terminal and are erased upon closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (composed of random numbers generated by the server) required to allow secure and efficient browsing of the site.
The session cookies used by this site avoid the use of other IT techniques which could potentially compromise the privacy of the user's navigation data and do not allow identifying personal data of the user to be acquired.
OPTIONAL NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA
Apart from the navigation data, as previously specified, users are free to supply personal data in the request forms to Zenit Italia s.r.l., or when otherwise contacting the Office to make requests for information or other communications be sent out.
Failure to provide this data may make it impossible to satisfy the request.
Please also bear in mind that in some cases (not relevant to ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request information pursuant to Article 32 para 1 of Italian Law 675/1996 for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data.
In these cases a response is mandatory, with fines imposed for a failure to respond.
DATA PROCESSING METHODS
Personal data are processed with the aid of automated tools, and are only stored for the period of time strictly necessary for fulfilment of the purposes for which they were acquired.
Special security measures serve to avoid loss of data, illegal or incorrect use of the data, and unauthorised access.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The Data Subject has the right to obtain confirmation at any time as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist (content and origin); to check the correctness or request updates, corrections or additions to the data (article 13 of Italian Law 675/1996).
This same article also provides the right to request the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data concerning them which have been processed unlawfully; the data subject may also object on legitimate grounds to the processing of their personal data
Requests are to be sent to the Data Controller Zenit Italia s.r.l.
